The Role – What You’ll Do

As a Senior Consultant, you will work on strategic programs dealing with complex, industry-specific requirements, while further deepening knowledge in your respective area of specialization. You will independently deliver high-quality solutions and actively build key client relationships.

Responsibilities :

• Detailed understanding and knowledge of ISO 20022 message standards.
• Hands-on exposure to CBPR+ and FEDNOW / FEDWIRE demands for ISO 20022 through at least one full program completed and delivered.
• Data solutions for payments monetization, data quality, and lineage (can be a separate specialist or in combination).
• Experience with RTP implementation through products like FINASTRA, FISERV, etc., is a definite advantage.
• Awareness of tech stack and architectural concepts, including microservices and cloud deployment, will be a significant plus.
• Gather and analyze business requirements, design, and develop data maps for technology transformation initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on technology transformation programs.
• Manage end-to-end project execution, stakeholder communication, and proactively address issues.
• Support business development activities, including proposals and propositions.
• Develop market-relevant points of view to maintain marketplace presence.

Basic Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, including 3 years in management consulting at a top-tier firm.
• Experience in B2B Payments, Disbursements, Card Payments, and related messaging standards like ISO 20022, Wires, ACH, etc.
• Hands-on experience with Payment Hub products and Card Processors is a plus.
• Experience with bank-level payments modernization programs.
• Knowledge of products like Fed WIRES, Canada Lynx, SWIFT high-value solutions.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Certifications from recognized institutes like BIS/FED are preferred.
• Graduate degree in MBA or Economics.
• 3-5 years in banking or payment services change initiatives.
• Exposure to RTP and FEDNOW is advantageous.
• Knowledge of liquidity management solutions.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Experience with Payment Hub and Card Processors.
• Strong understanding of various payment schemes.
• Experience in industry thought leadership and pre-sales activities.
• Authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship.
