Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Consultant in Banking Technology to help financial institutions transform lending capabilities, including digital lending, loan lifecycle management, and credit systems. You will deliver technology-enabled solutions across lending platforms and processes, working closely with business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into effective system solutions.

The Opportunity

As a Senior Consultant within our Banking Technology practice, you will support leading financial institutions in transforming their lending capabilities, including digital lending, loan lifecycle management, and credit systems. You will contribute to delivering technology-enabled solutions across lending platforms and processes.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Support delivery of lending technology initiatives across loan origination, underwriting, servicing, and collections
• Contribute to the implementation and enhancement of loan management and digital lending platforms
• Work with business and technology stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into system solutions
• Assist in solution configuration, testing, data migration, and deployment activities
• Support integration of lending systems with core banking and external platforms
• Prepare deliverables including documentation, reports, and client presentations

Skills And Attributes For Success

• Experience in lending domain (retail, commercial, or corporate lending)
• Strong understanding of lending lifecycle: origination, credit assessment, underwriting, servicing
• Familiarity with loan platforms and banking systems
• Understanding of system integration, APIs, and data flows
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills

What We Look For

• 4–7 years of experience in banking technology or financial services consulting
• Experience supporting technology delivery across design, build, and implementation phases
• Exposure to lending transformation or loan platform initiatives

Ideally, You’ll Also Have

• Experience with lending platforms (e.g., nCino, Finastra, Temenos, FIS or similar)
• Knowledge of digital lending and customer experience transformation
• Understanding of regulatory and risk considerations in lending

EY reports salary ranges in accordance with applicable provincial pay transparency legislation. Individual salaries within the anticipated salary ranges noted below are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to internal equity, education, relevant experience, knowledge, and applicable skill sets.
