Description

Reporting to the Manager of L&D Organization Excellence and Corporate (L&D), the Sr Consultant for Corporate is a key member of the L&D team, who works with various partners across the organization. As a Learning & Development Senior Consultant for Corporate you will be responsible for developing innovative best in class training experiences that further the learning journey of our professional employees enterprise wide. We are looking for someone who has a passion for learning and teaching others to be their best. You will also be responsible for ensuring that we develop training products that are of high-quality, sustainable, and use innovative approaches for delivering and measuring impactful programs that meet the needs of our corporate business partners. Success in this role requires a high level of comfort interacting with stakeholders at all levels of our business including frontline employees to Senior Managers, Executives, and external vendors. Responsibilities
  • Partner with stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs) across the organization to manage the development of best in class training programs, including materials such as online courses, workshops, job aids, facilitator or learner guides, simulations, videos etc. to support various learning needs
  • Establish business objectives and metrics for each program to assess impact and track program success and trends
  • Develop and leverage high level outlines and designs including performance objectives to guide instructional designers in the development of the learning experience following the program development cycle
  • Apply knowledge of adult learning principles and modern learning tools and techniques to lead the development of clear, concise, engaging, effective and interactive learning experiences
  • Drive a learning culture and promote available training opportunities to support clients
  • Administer necessary administrative tasks associated with all relevant learning solutions, ensuring all employee training records are updated in the Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Willingness to support broader team as required
  • Support the development of and uphold learning standards, ensuring compliance with language, accessibility, effectiveness and regulatory requirements
  • Manage training budget for programs being developed and report on performance
Qualifications
  • 5+ years demonstrated ability applying adult learning practices in needs assessments, design, delivery, and evaluative methods
  • Adult education degree, diploma, certificate, with in-depth knowledge of adult learning principles, training methodologies and best practices is required
  • Communication skills- professional, confident, transparent, and concise communicator (verbal and written) (French is an asset)
  • Skilled presenter and facilitator able to train-the-trainer and coach key stakeholders
  • Ability to deal with significant ambiguity and constantly changing priorities in a fast-paced environment and experience managing and prioritizing multiple projects at varying stages
  • Experience in supporting corporate lines of business, eg. Sales, Legal, Marketing with their L&D requirements
  • Sense of urgency and able to instill the same sense of urgency in others to drive timely outcomes
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to understand individual needs and manage expectations
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to effectively consult, negotiate, and influence solutions with individuals at all levels of the organization while holding parties accountable for their part
  • Proficiency with MS Office 365 is required
