Arobas Personnel is currently seeking a Senior Consultant – IT Audit, Technology Risk Consulting for a contract opportunity with one of our clients based in Montreal.
*Remote : Hybrid- 2 days/week in the office*
What will your day-to-day look like?
As a Senior Consultant within the Technology Risk Consulting (TRC) team, you will play a key role in delivering risk-based IT audit and advisory engagements across a wide range of industries and technical environments. You will contribute to the success of your clients by helping them assess and improve their IT governance, risk management, and control frameworks.
You’ll gain exposure to a variety of services including:
- Systems Assurance
- IT Internal and External Audit
- Cybersecurity and Privacy
- Business Systems Controls
- Technology Project Advisory and Assurance
- Business Resilience and Disaster Recovery
- Technology Governance, Risk, and Compliance
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the planning and execution of IT audit and advisory engagements
- Participating in multiple client projects of varying scope and complexity
- Documenting and evaluating IT governance, risks, and control frameworks
- Preparing and delivering clear, concise reports and recommendations tailored to both technical and business stakeholders
- Engaging with clients to discuss findings and propose actionable solutions
- Supporting business development efforts by assisting in the preparation of proposals, presentations, and other marketing materials
- Coaching, mentoring, and supervising junior team members
- Contributing to internal practice development initiatives such as training, knowledge sharing, and operations support
What you bring to the table:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, MIS/BTM, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in IT audit, consulting, or relevant industry roles (experience in system audits, IT project management, business system controls, or cybersecurity preferred)
- Understanding of IT risk management as it relates to financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Self-motivated, organized, and adaptable to shifting priorities
- Solid business acumen and interpersonal skills, with a professional and client-focused approach
Assets:
- Professional certifications such as CISA, CPA, CIA (highly regarded)
- Aspiration to pursue additional certifications (e.g., PMP, CISSP, CRISC)
