Join to apply for the Senior Consultant - Data Protection / Security role at FSP

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Consultant to join our Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) team and extend our data privacy capabilities. In this role, you will leverage your experience to advise on privacy, data protection, and information security, lead consulting engagements, and support complex privacy and security programs.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead data privacy consulting engagements, ensuring compliance with UK and EU GDPR, and other relevant regulations.
  2. Design and implement data protection programs for clients.
  3. Provide expert advice on privacy and data protection risks, governance, and compliance.
  4. Manage and support the implementation of client privacy and data protection programs in line with legislative requirements, policies, and processes.
  5. Lead and advise on the design, implementation, and adoption of information security policies, procedures, and frameworks.
  6. Evaluate third-party security, data protection, and privacy controls within existing client services and in sourcing new services.
  7. Create reports on risk and compliance for C-suite stakeholders, including risk mitigation strategies.
  8. Contribute to developing innovative solutions to enhance security and privacy.
  9. Stay updated on industry and technology developments and promote these within your projects.
  10. Share knowledge and embed privacy and data protection into GRC and across FSP.
About you
  1. Extensive experience in data privacy and/or data protection consultancy.
  2. Deep knowledge of privacy regulations and data protection laws.
  3. Successful track record in delivering privacy, data protection, GRC, and security projects.
  4. Ability to manage client relationships and deliver high-quality outcomes.
  5. Relevant certifications such as CIPP/E, CIPP/M, CIPP/T, or equivalent.
  6. Right to work in the UK and eligibility for UK security clearance.
Additional advantageous knowledge
  1. Knowledge of GRC and information security.
  2. Certifications like CISM, CRISC, CISSP, PCIRM, ISO27001.
