What you’ll be doing

The Senior Consultant, AML Control and Regulatory Program, is responsible for identifying, documenting, and mapping controls in EAML to support CIBC's global AML/ATF & Sanctions program.

We offer a flexible hybrid work environment, allowing 1-3 days per week on-site and other days remote.

How you’ll succeed
  • Internal controls management: Review procedures, confirm control documentation accuracy, perform walkthroughs, identify processes to meet regulatory requirements, and map controls to regulations and business units.
  • Regulatory library management: Support control mapping to regulatory requirements and ensure proper categorization within RGTs.
  • Collaboration: Develop plans within a team to review all regions' functional areas and meet documentation update deadlines.
  • Oversight and counsel: Provide guidance on identifying and documenting controls owned by Business Units.
  • Management reporting: Regularly update senior management on progress and risks.
