We are seeking a talented individual with a proven track record in executing project deliverables for our growing Global Infrastructure Advisory practice, specifically in Indigenous Advisory Services based in Vancouver.

The successful candidate will assist in delivering high-quality services to public and private sector clients, advising on projects involving Indigenous Peoples across various sectors including natural resources, energy, utilities, transportation, and more.

As a Senior Consultant, you will help senior colleagues in project delivery, requiring technical expertise, Indigenous BC knowledge, critical thinking, and effective collaboration with stakeholders and rightsholders.

Note : We are also open to hiring at the Consultant level, which is a junior position with growth opportunities.

What You Will Do

  • Build and maintain relationships with Indigenous communities
  • Assist on major projects for government and private sector clients across diverse industries
  • Prepare reports, proposals, and RFP submissions
  • Conduct research and data analysis
  • Develop and review engagement reports and technical reviews
  • Contribute to strategic and business planning
  • Deliver advisory services as part of a team

What You Bring To The Role

  • 3-5 years (or 1-2 years for Consultant) of relevant industry experience
  • Skills in community engagement, infrastructure planning, economic analysis, lifecycle asset management, data analytics, or experience working with Indigenous communities in BC
  • Knowledge of Indigenous culture, governance, treaties, and rights
  • Excellent project management, communication, and problem-solving skills, incorporating Indigenous knowledge
  • Ability to work respectfully with Indigenous communities and Elders
  • Skills & Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in business, engineering, finance, economics, Indigenous studies, or related fields
  • Understanding of Indigenous rights, UNDRIP, regional histories, and cultural protocols
  • Experience in Indigenous engagement and collaboration with First Nations
  • Strong communication, teamwork, technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and travel within Canada and abroad
  • Pay Range & Benefits

    The base salary range for this position is $63,500 to $99,500, with potential bonuses. Salary is determined based on location, skills, and qualifications. KPMG offers a comprehensive Total Rewards program.
