YOU
  • Have solid media and influencer relationships; pitch all media tiers to generate significant results and instruct the team on MR / influencer strategy and divide up pitching duties.
  • Write & edit error-free client-ready written material (releases, emails, etc.) with minimal support and understand the why and what in all work.
  • Review & edit media lists to deliver quality coverage.
  • Review & edit briefs and finalize influencer concepts & content to ensure they deliver on campaign objectives.
  • Share recommendations, ideas and strategic responses to client situations with internal account teams.
  • Maintain budget trackers and activity reports for clients.
  • Coach and mentor junior team members.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by delivering quality work, anticipating needs and identifying potential issues as they arise.
  • Define competitive landscape and identify issues, gaps and opportunities for clients.
  • Have strong understanding of paid media, influencer marketing and paid digital and its role in the integrated marketing mix.
  • Be a creative thinker with the executional expertise to conceptualize and implement programs of various shapes and sizes.
  • Help identify and participate in new business pitch development & presentation and contribute to agency brand-building initiatives.
  • Develop proficiency in day-to-day management of multiple projects & accounts with competing deadlines while ensuring success.
  • Consistent at making in-the-moment decisions with minimal senior input.
  • Act as a core day-to-day client contact on multiple accounts and manage critical path.
  • Have exceptional project management and presentation skills with an unsurpassed attention to detail.
ASK
  • Bachelor's degree or Graduate degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or Marketing
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience; PR agency experience is a must
  • Current and relevant experience with media and influencers
  • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills
  • Superb organizational and project management skills and the ability to prioritize competing demands in a rapidly developing environment
  • Strong account / project management skills including an understanding of budget management
  • Keen understanding of the role of digital media in integrated communications strategies
  • A positive can-do attitude
COMPENSATION

APEX PR is committed to offering competitive pay for the role and experience that the candidate brings. The salary range for this role is $60,000 to $80,000 depending on experience.

This is a full-time position at 40 hours a week but may also require after office hours or weekend attendance due to events or client initiatives.
