Required Skills

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Ontario or Calgary or be willing to relocate. Travel may be required.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution; three years of progressive experience in the specialty can substitute for each year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• Candidates authorized to work in Canada without employer-sponsored visas are welcome. Immigration sponsorship is not available for this role.

Skills

• 5+ years experience with Lab Applications (Empower, Biovia, Labware, MODA).
• Application troubleshooting and maintenance (Level 2/3) experience on web applications built on .NET framework and COTS applications.
• Knowledge of Incident, Problem, Change, and Release management processes, and Service catalogues.
• Development and troubleshooting experience with SQL.
• Understanding of Microsoft IIS/Web services.
• Familiarity with the Life Science (Pharma domain) is advantageous.
• Experience supporting Windows-based applications.
• Knowledge of SQL, ServiceNow, and Web Services is essential.

The role involves sitting and working at a computer for extended periods and communicating via telephone, email, or face-to-face.

Estimated annual compensation for candidates in Ontario ranges from $89,004 to $103,042.
