You are a seasoned Construction Superintendent skilled at delivering projects with a safety-first mindset. You will oversee a variety of industrial projects, both domestic and international, fostering teamwork, collaboration, and innovation within our Project Delivery Group. A Day in the Life

1. Coordinate and oversee onsite construction activities.
2. Support management of the Construction Schedule, Safety Management Plan, Environmental Management Plan, Quality Management Plan, Requests for Information, Change Notices, Non-Conformance Reports, commissioning, energizing processes, As-Built completions, and contract compliance.
3. Coordinate with management and engineering to ensure work meets design specifications, standards, and contractual requirements, prioritizing safety.
4. Implement continuous improvements to positively impact project performance.
5. Assist in recruiting, developing, and retaining project team members, including internal staff, contractors, and subcontractors.
6. Establish and maintain strong relationships for effective communication and collaboration at all levels.
7. Oversee regular project reporting, including updates on cost, schedule, progress, KPIs, NCRs, and RFIs.
8. Develop remediation plans with the project team to address schedule or cost issues.
9. Role may be site-based, depending on project needs.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

• Minimum 15 years’ experience as a Construction Superintendent in Mining, Water Treatment, or Heavy Industrial Sectors.
• Heavy civils and mechanical construction experience in dam and pond development.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems through all project phases: construction, commissioning, operations.
• P.Eng qualifications in civil, mechanical, or electrical engineering, or equivalent experience interfacing with engineering and management.
• Results-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, audit, and investigation skills.
• Proficiency with 3D models, CAD software, MS Project, and MS Office Suite.
• Effective leadership and communication skills across diverse disciplines and external clients.
• Understanding of contract terms and ability to manage contractual requirements.
• Professionalism and excellence in interpersonal and team-building skills.
• Experience with heavy industry safety policies and processes.
