Mongrain Inc. in Mirabel, QC, is seeking a construction estimator to join a long‑standing, family‑owned builder specializing in insulation, waterproofing and protective systems.
You will analyze calls for tenders, estimate costs, prepare bids, request supplier quotes and coordinate with project managers to ensure timely delivery. A bilingual English/French communicator with 5+ years in commercial/institutional estimating and solid MS Office/estimating software skills is preferred.
Competenze
- Minimum 5 years in estimating for commercial/institutional construction.
- Experience reading and interpreting plans and technical drawings.
- Knowledge of insulation, waterproofing, thermal protection and fire protection products.
Mansioni
- Analyze tender calls, plans and specifications.
- Estimate costs for materials, labor, equipment, time and other costs.
- Prepare project bids and meet deadlines.
- Submit supplier price requests.
- Manage client change directives and establish new prices.
- Coordinate information for construction site execution.
- Plan resources and coordinate with project managers.
- Develop feasible solutions to changing project needs.
