Job summary

STEMCELL Technologies in Vancouver and across North America seeks a Senior Conference Associate to lead exhibitor and sponsorship efforts at scientific conferences. You will manage cross‑department collaboration to deliver on plans within budget, acting as a project manager for conference presence.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 2–6 years of experience, or a Master's with 1–4 years.
Strong knowledge of project management fundamentals and hands-on event planning experience.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across complex teams.
Proficiency with standard business software, spreadsheets, presentations, and database applications.
Ability to lift/move items weighing up to 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

Establish detailed project plans, outline objectives, and manage end-to-end event logistics.
Collaborate with internal teams, management, and vendors to negotiate agreements and streamline planning.
Identify, evaluate, and mitigate project risks while reporting progress to the Senior Manager, Conference Management.
Coordinate event logistics, manage booth inventory, and support Sales with shipping collateral.
Capture post-conference feedback and recommend improvements for future events.
