Senior Compensation and Governance Consultant

Join ISS-Corporate as a Senior Compensation and Governance Consultant.

Role Overview

ISS-Corporate helps companies design and manage their corporate governance, executive compensation, and sustainability programs to align with company goals, reduce risk, and address diverse shareholder needs through data, tools, and advisory services.

Our global client base includes over 1500 companies across The Americas, EMEA, and Asia Pacific, working with C-Suite executives, board members, and senior professionals in finance, legal, investor relations, and HR sectors.

ISS-Corporate is a subsidiary of ISS Institutional Shareholder Services, part of ISS STOXX GmbH.

The Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with senior client executives, providing advisory services on governance and compensation trends.
  • Analyze client data to identify concerns related to shareholder perceptions of governance and compensation.
  • Utilize databases and platforms to gather actionable intelligence on disclosures and practices.
  • Create and present polished reports and insights to C-Suite clients.
  • Assist sales teams in identifying client needs and demonstrating ISS-Corporate’s value.
  • Contribute to thought leadership through whitepapers, blogs, webinars, and conferences.

This role involves minimal travel, primarily for conferences and occasional client visits.

Qualifications & Education

  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in executive compensation and governance.
  • BA in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Strong communication, writing, and public speaking skills.
  • Comfort with SaaS applications and technical tools.
  • Excellent organization, multitasking, and deadline management skills.
