Job summary

A leading home care organization seeks a Homemaker Companion to provide essential companion services to clients. The role includes meal planning, light housekeeping, and assisting clients with errands and medication management. As a successful candidate, you will have a high school diploma and preferably experience in similar roles, with the ability to communicate effectively in English. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required. Flexible hours and training will be provided to enhance your skills.

Qualifications/Educational Requirements:

• High school graduate or equivalent certificate
• Experience as a Homemaker/Companion (in homes or facilities) is an asset
• Meet passing criteria on DEARS (Drugs and Ethics) test
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job
• Possess a valid driver's license and have use of an insured automobile or access to adequate transportation for the job
• Initial training will be provided
