Position: Senior Communications Cabling Technician

As our business grows, Cabco is seeking a Senior Communications Cabling Technician to work out of Dartmouth. A self-starter with a passion for technology, you are comfortable working independently and as part of a team in a collaborative, goal-oriented environment. You have a reputation for being reliable, customer-focused, and approach your daily work in an efficient, highly organized manner.

Responsibilities and Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of experience in the installation, troubleshooting, and integration of structured cabling.
  • Communications Cabling Specialist (CCS) certification preferred or willingness to work towards it.
  • Ability to act as a site lead.
  • Positive attitude and effective communication skills with staff, vendors, and customers.
  • Interest in technology and willingness to learn new skills via interaction with our Premises Security and Telecommunications teams.
  • Ability to work in a physical labor workplace.
  • Willingness to travel to all job sites, including night shifts and weekends as required.
  • Compliance with all safety regulations and safety training requirements to maintain a successful safety record.
  • Experience working on lifts is considered an asset.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
