Role Overview

If you have a passion for business development, an established network in Richmond, and enjoy working with ambitious entrepreneurs, this role is for you. You will work at Canada's only bank dedicated exclusively to entrepreneurs.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Network with clients and prospects to identify opportunities and provide tailored advice and solutions.
  2. Develop business relationships within the community to generate referrals and new opportunities.
  3. Collaborate with teammates to meet objectives related to client acquisition, transaction volume, and portfolio growth.
  4. Apply analytical and negotiation skills to create and present financing proposals that meet client and BDC requirements.
Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in commerce or business administration.
  • Interest in entrepreneurship and understanding of various business models.
  • At least 5 years of client-facing experience in commercial banking.
  • Proven business development skills and goal achievement.
  • Excellent listening, persuasive, and influencing abilities.
  • Outstanding customer service and support skills.
  • Team player capable of building lasting relationships.
  • Ability to negotiate and build partnerships at high levels.

Stand out further if you possess:

  • Additional credentials like MBA, CPA, CFA, PMP, or CMC.
  • Multilingual abilities, especially Mandarin and/or Cantonese.
  • A track record of inspiring and engaging professional networks.
