Zebra Robotics Brampton East is seeking a Coding Instructor to teach coding using our proven curriculum in a fun, engaging setting. You will mentor students aged 6–22, foster problem-solving skills, and guide them through hands-on activities that build confidence in technology.

The role emphasizes energetic, independent teaching, strong communication, and the ability to manage a high-paced classroom during evening sessions.

Qualifications

  • 2 to 5 years experience teaching children; COOP developer experience preferred.
  • Graduate degree in math, computer science, mechanical or electronics.
  • Excellent oral communication; upbeat, positive, energetic and works independently.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Coding Instructor; an energetic individual with an engaging personality who believes in our philosophy of learning and innovating in a fun environment. Our coaches are the lifeblood of our operation. You will join our team of coaches to teach coding based on our proven curriculum.

Are you a technology teacher or do you have experience working with children? Do you enjoy teaching and building problem solving skills in young engineering minds? This could be the role for you.

Requirements
  • 2 to 5 years experience teaching children with COOP developer experience is preferred
  • Graduate in degree in math, computer science, mechanical or electronics
  • Up beat, positive, energetic and works Independently.
  • Experience working with children age 6 to 22.
  • Experience in science, technology and/or math will be preferred.
  • Good listener and strong influencer.
  • Ability to inspire and lead others.
  • Troubleshoot and assist students with their programs in a high paced environment.
  • Pre-employment background check is required.

Timing

Availability Requirements

Our evening programs typically run from 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with the possibility of expanding to Mondays and/or Thursdays.

  • Please note that this position is primarily a weekday evening role. If you are specifically looking for Friday or weekend shifts, this role may not be the best fit.
