Job summary

You will guide multi-disciplinary teams, contribute to strategic initiatives, and travel internationally as needed to advance projects and client engagement.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant engineering experience in coastal/marine structures or related fields.
• Proven track record of pursuing and securing projects with annual sales targets between $500K and $1M.
• Ability to lead complex projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing scopes.
• Strong communication in English; travel 1–2 weeks every other month domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead project delivery for marine and water resources projects, on time and on budget.
• Expand business horizons by pursuing new opportunities and strengthening client relationships.
• Collaborate across disciplines to develop integrated engineering solutions.
• Communicate with purpose with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to professional development.
• Think globally, act locally with projects in Canada and international initiatives.
• Stay ahead of market trends and technologies to keep the firm at the forefront of innovation.
• Shape company strategy and represent Baird at industry events.
