Job summary
Eclipse Automation Inc. in Cambridge, ON is seeking a CNC Programmer/Machinist to join our on-site team. You will program CNC milling, lathe, and router equipment using MasterCam, read engineering drawings, and develop 3D programs from surfaces and solids.
The role requires 7+ years of custom machining and Mastercam experience, with additional assets in welding, boring mill, and EDM. You will work under supervision to optimize tooling and production processes and contribute to a collaborative
Qualifications
- Owner of a Certificate of Qualification for a General Machinist or equivalent experience in automation/manufacturing.
- 7+ years of custom machining and Mastercam programming experience.
- Welding, boring mill and EDM experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables.
- Program CNC milling machines, lathes, and routers using MasterCam.
- Create 3D programs from surfaces and solids.
- Perform 4th and 5th axis programming on CNC mills.
- Execute live tooling and 4-axis lathe programming.
- Build process sheets for material flow.
- Set up and adjust production machinery.
- Assemble components to close tolerances.
