Numeris is seeking a Senior Cloud Systems Engineer to lead the design, automation, and operation of enterprise cloud platforms across AWS and Azure. The role focuses on Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, cloud architecture, and data platforms to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable technology solutions.

You will design, deploy and manage AWS/Azure infrastructure, build CI/CD pipelines, and promote GitOps practices while ensuring security and governance across cloud environments.

Numeris isseeking a SeniorCloud SystemsEngineer to lead the design, automation, and operation of enterprise cloud platforms across AWS and Azure. This role combines deep expertise in Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, cloud architecture, and data platforms to enable scalable, secure, and reliable technology solutions.

What you will do

• Design, deploy and manage AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
• Build and maintain enterprise CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab.
• Develop reusable Infrastructure as Code modules and platform automation frameworks.
• Architect and support cloud-based data lake solutions leveraging AWS Lake Formation, S3, Glue, Athena, Redshift, Azure Data Lake Storage, Synapse, and Microsoft Fabric.
• Promote Infrastructure as Code and GitOps best practices across engineering teams.
• Ensure cloud environments adhere to security, governance, monitoring, and compliance best practices.
• Implement IAM, secrets management, encryption, logging, and monitoring controls.
• Collaborate with Security teams to address vulnerabilities and compliance requirements.
• Maintain secure cloud configurations and cloud governance standards.
• Participate in audits and security reviews as required.
• Support Kubernetes platforms (EKS/AKS), containerization, and GitOps workflows.
• Drive platform reliability, operational excellence, and cloud cost optimization.

What you have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related discipline(Equivalent practical experience may be considered)
• 7-10 years of IT Infrastructure, systems engineering or cloud engineering experience
• 5+ years of hands-onAWS engineering experience
• Expert-level Terraform and Infrastructure as Code experience.
• Strong AWS architecture and platform engineering expertise.
• Experience with Azure cloud services and hybrid cloud environments.
• CI/CD pipeline design and automation experience.
• Data Lake and Data Platform architecture experience.
• Linux management and scripting
• Scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, and Bash.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, IAM, and compliance frameworks.
• Networks Administration
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related discipline(Equivalent practical experience may be considered)
