Job summary

Google Cloud is seeking software developers to advance source code management and software supply chain security. You will work on AI-first initiatives to automate the software development lifecycle and strengthen platform reliability for enterprise and public sector customers.

The role spans distributed systems design, security, and AI-enabled tooling, with opportunities to switch projects as Google Cloud evolves.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in software development.
5 years of experience with large scale distributed systems.
5 years of experience with Cloud APIs or building secure, multi-tenant cloud infrastructure environments.
2 years of experience with software supply chain security, OpenID Connect (OIDC), IAM policy delegation, or cryptographic signing frameworks.
Experience programming in Go.

Responsibilities

Support the architectural evolution and influence the future technical direction of Google Cloud's source code management and software supply chain security infrastructure.
Transition source code management (SCM) products into an AI-first era by developing capabilities that enable agents to autonomously orchestrate the SDLC.
Design and develop the next generation of managed software supply chain security services at the intersection of systems development and identity security.
Act as a leader among leaders, partnering with Cloud foundations teams to build and deliver robust platforms that meet security and compliance requirements.
Partner with Product Managers and other Tech Leads to prioritize opportunities, distribute work, and maintain system reliability.
