Job summary

CGL is seeking a Senior Technical Consultant to partner with business teams and translate requirements into scalable cloud infrastructure solutions. The role involves planning, maintaining, and upgrading complex multi‑tier systems, and guiding teams through cloud builds, upgrades, and operations.

You will lead incident response, drive improvements, and mentor colleagues while applying security, reliability, and performance best practices across on‑prem and cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Seven to ten years of technical experience in progressively complex technical environments.
• Degree in Information Technology, or Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Led the implementation of multiple complex and resilient technical solutions with focus on security, performance and reliability.
• Excellent communication skills and collaboration with business partners to identify solutions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee infrastructure performance, capacity, security posture, and integration with environments and applications.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure architecture teams to assess performance impacts and config changes.
• Coordinate and manage complex technical incidents and problem resolution across production and test environments.
• Document new processes and solutions, update knowledge bases, and share knowledge with teams.
• Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of complex technologies, internally and externally sourced.
• Perform risk assessments to design technology solutions addressing business needs and improve efficiency.
• Direct large-scale infrastructure projects with detailed work plans and time estimates.
• Coach and mentor peers, developing methodologies and tools.
