Senior Cloud Security Engineer, Brampton, ON

Our Detection Engineering team is embarking on an exciting new journey, focused on building cutting-edge detection capabilities to stay ahead of the rapidly evolving threat landscape. As we shape the future of threat detection across multi-cloud environments, we’re expanding our team to include Cloud Security Engineers who are passionate about securing complex cloud infrastructures.

This role will play a key part in designing and implementing scalable security solutions, working closely with detection engineers to craft innovative defenses that protect our multi-cloud ecosystems. If you're eager to tackle complex security challenges, influence detection strategy, and make a real impact, this is the opportunity for you.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and drive cloud security engineering initiatives across multi-cloud environments, with a particular focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ensuring alignment with enterprise security goals.
  • Own the implementation, configuration, and ongoing management of Prisma Cloud, serving as the subject matter expert (SME) and guiding teams through pilots and proof of concept evaluations.
  • Contribute to core security engineering efforts, including threat modeling, architecture reviews, and implementation of security best practices across infrastructure and applications.
  • Develop and enforce proactive cloud security policies, integrating security controls into CI/CD pipelines and runtime environments to protect workloads throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Apply deep, hands-on experience with GCP, Azure, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) to design, implement, and optimize native security capabilities across these platforms, with a focus on securing cloud-native services and workloads.

What you Bring:

  • Curious security mindset with the ability to craft innovative solutions to complex challenges, leveraging advanced technologies and threat intelligence to stay ahead of evolving attack tactics. Familiarity with multi Cloud platforms and Automation to be able to leverage advanced detection & response methodology.
  • Deep expertise in securing cloud environments & proven hands on experience with GCP, Azure, and OCI, including their native security services and architecture.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Kubernetes with a container-first approach, bringing deep understanding of cluster architecture, security hardening, workload protection, and operational orchestration.
  • Deep understanding of multi-cloud architectures and the unique security challenges that come with protecting cloud environments, including misconfigurations, data breaches, insecure APIs, and the complexities of managing identity and access across multiple cloud platforms.
  • Practical experience operating Prisma Cloud in complex enterprise environments—configuring policies, managing alerts, and integrating with DevOps pipelines to drive proactive cloud security.
  • Ability to quickly adapt and innovate in response to the constantly changing security landscape, proactively identifying new attack vectors and methods for detection.
