Arobas Personnel is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Advisor for a contract opportunity with one of our clients located in Montreal or Brossard.

*Remote : Hybrid- 50% on site*

Are you passionate about securing cloud infrastructures and guiding organizations through digital transformation? As a Senior Cloud Security Advisor with a specialization in Microsoft Sentinel, you’ll play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing advanced security solutions tailored to each client’s needs.

You will serve as a trusted advisor and technical authority, helping clients protect their cloud and hybrid environments against emerging cyber threats, while aligning with business goals and industry best practices.

What will your day-to-day look like?

• Design and deploy Microsoft Sentinel architectures that fit client-specific environments and use cases.
• Integrate diverse data sources (cloud, on-premises, third-party) to provide unified security visibility.
• Configure analytics rules, data connectors, detection models, and watchlists.
• Continuously optimize performance and minimize false positives by fine-tuning detection rules.
• Automate security operations and incident responses using Playbooks via Azure Logic Apps.
• Create automation and validation scripts using PowerShell, KQL, and Python.
• Lead client workshops, collaborate with internal and external teams, and deliver clear, professional reports.
• Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Microsoft Sentinel initiative.

What we’re looking for:

• A degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field – or equivalent experience and recognized cybersecurity certifications.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years focused on cloud security, especially with Microsoft Azure.
• Proven expertise in Microsoft Sentinel: deployment, customization, and optimization.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM/SOAR platforms, SOC operations, and incident response.
