Magnet Forensics is seeking a Senior Cloud FinOps Engineer to join the Shared Services Engineering team. You will enable cloud and AI cost visibility, forecasting, and optimization across AWS, Azure, and AI environments, building tooling and processes to empower engineering and finance with actionable data.
The role is engineering‑first, with autonomy to analyze, automate, and apply AI to improve efficiency.
We’re seeking a Senior Cloud FinOps Engineer to join the Shared Services Engineering team at Magnet Forensics. Reporting to the Director of the Shared Services group, you’ll enable cloud and AI cost visibility, forecasting, and optimization across our AWS, Azure, and AI environments, and build the tooling and processes that give engineering and finance teams the data they need to make good decisions.
This is an engineering‑first role. You will analyze, automate those analyses, make concrete engineering recommendations, and leverage AI to operate more efficiently and effectively. You’ll operate with significant autonomy and have real influence over how we manage and optimize a material cloud investment.
$130,000 – $180,000 CDN a year.
