The purpose of this position is to lead the design, development, and implementation of cloud-based solutions supporting the organization's fraud detection and prevention initiatives. This role is crucial for migrating existing systems to cloud platforms, optimizing infrastructure for performance and cost-efficiency, and maintaining security and compliance.

In this role you will:

1. Cloud Architecture and Development: Design, develop, and implement solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for real-time fraud detection and prevention.
2. Incident Management: Respond to and resolve cloud-related incidents to ensure minimal operational impact.
3. Security and Compliance: Ensure solutions meet industry standards and regulations, including PCI compliance.
4. Performance Optimization: Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency, managing dataflow jobs and reducing system lag.
5. Data Management: Oversee ingestion, storage, and processing of large datasets, ensuring security and data integrity.
6. Migration and Integration: Lead migration efforts to cloud platforms with minimal disruption.
7. Collaboration and Communication: Work with cross-functional teams including fraud analytics, IT, and cybersecurity to deliver solutions.

Do you have the skills to succeed in this role?

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, business, or related field.
2. 7+ years experience as a Java Developer with expertise in requirements analysis, cloud back-end & front-end design, deployment, and cloud implementation.
3. Must have experience with Google Cloud Platform.
4. Familiarity with fraud detection systems and technologies.
5. Performance Optimization: Proven ability to optimize cloud infrastructure.
6. Incident Management: Experience resolving cloud incidents.
7. Cloud Platforms: Experience with Big Data architectures, batch and real-time data processing, and cloud services like Dataflow, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, etc.
8. Programming Languages: Experience with microservices (REST, Spring Boot), React.js, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Python, and DevOps tools like Kubernetes, Jenkins, Maven.
9. Security: Knowledge of secure coding practices and security tools.
10. Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with experience working in Agile environments.
