The ideal candidate will have over 2 years of hands-on experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and AWS cloud services, and will lead large-scale database migration projects while enhancing security and operational efficiency. Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with MySQL and/or PostgreSQL.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with MongoDB, Redis or ElasticSearch.
• 2+ years of experience with AWS cloud services.
• Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), with a primary focus on Terraform.
• Practical knowledge of containers (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Proficiency with scripting and automation (Bash, Python, or Ansible).

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale database migration projects driven by company acquisitions and rapid growth.
• Design and execute strategies for migrations, blue/green deployments, data archiving, and partitioning.
• Use AI-powered automation to strengthen our data platform across key pillars.
• Guide engineers in delivering fit-for-purpose database solutions.
• Build self-healing, automated systems that improve observability, alerting, and operational efficiency.
