Job summary

A global technology firm is seeking a Senior SQL Database Administrator to lead cloud-first strategies across SQL Server environments on Azure and AWS. The successful candidate will be responsible for architecting and optimizing SQL deployments, managing cloud migrations, and mentoring junior DBAs. With at least 10 years of experience, especially in cloud services, candidates will be expected to have advanced skills in PowerShell and T-SQL, complemented by leadership qualities. Excellent communication skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Experience with cloud database platforms (Azure SQL, Managed Instances, AWS RDS).
• Strong experience with cloud-native backup and monitoring solutions.
• Proven track record in large-scale cloud migrations.
