Title: Senior Clinical Nursing Advisor, Nursing Operations

Salary: $102,490 – $125,736 per year (pay range explained below)

Contract: Term – March 19, 2027 (Mat leave coverage)

Hours: 37.5 hours, Monday – Friday (core hours 9am – 3pm)

Location: Northern Region Home Office – Hybrid (50% in office) & Remote work Available.

Bargaining Unit: PIPSC BCFNHA Group (Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada)

About The Role

As Senior Clinical Nursing Advisor, you will – support the Nursing Operations Manager(s) and assists in the co-ordination and operationalization of Nursing Services on behalf of the FNHA and First Nations clients. Assists in the delivery of quality health services and community programming through consultation and collaboration with point-of-care teams, central, and regional teams.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have/be –

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing from a recognized university and successful completion of approved training in public health nursing, obstetrics, mental health or other relevant specialty, nursing leadership, administration, or public health sciences, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals (BCCNM).
  • Current CPR course for Health Care Providers (HCP).
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in public health and/or remote nursing, including 2 years of experience in a supervisory/leadership capacity.
