Job summary

DGA Careers Inc. is recruiting a Senior Claims Adjuster in Canada to manage high-value liability, bodily injury, E&O and D&O claims. You will independently investigate, assess coverage and liability, and negotiate settlements with insurers, insureds and third parties.

Ideal candidates bring established AMF 5A licensing, strong analytical and negotiation skills, and bilingual FR/EN communication. This is a permanent, fully remote role with robust benefits and career growth.

Qualifications

• AMF Claims Adjuster License (5A) for Personal and Commercial Lines.
• Proven experience handling liability claims.
• Strong investigative, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• Experience or education in law, engineering, or medicine is an asset.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
• Fluent in French and English; strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to independently manage complex claims files with high client service standards.

Responsibilities

• Handle complex liability claims and specialty lines including E&O and D&O.
• Conduct thorough investigations to determine coverage and liability.
• Meet with insureds, claimants, witnesses, and other stakeholders for statements.
• Analyze policies, explain coverage, limitations, and exclusions.
• Assess potential liability and pursue subrogation or contributions where applicable.
• Conduct site visits and interviews as required.
• Negotiate settlements when appropriate and prepare detailed reports.
