Settle or claims habitation, automobile, motorcycle, long haul trucking, commercial, warranty program, etc.
Determine/assess coverage of claim
Conduct investigation: statements, establish loss, proceed with settlement, negotiate, etc.
Determine subrogation potential and proceed
Guiding and directing external vendors for effective investigation, control and facilitation of claims
Prepare any correspondence or file reports
Process payments (or denial) in accordance with established authority
Maintain timely and accurate claim reserves on files
Actively manage claims audit program

Who You Are
College certificate
Personal-lines Damage Insurance and Commercial-line Damage Insurance Claims Adjuster AMF permit
Minimum 5 years of experience
CIP or FCIP designation or working towards is an asset
Knowledge of English at an intermediate level is required in addition to French, as this position requires oral and written communication with our customers, partners and other Echelon Assurance Canada teams located across Canada.
