FRENCH SPEAKING ADJUSTER - QUEBEC REGION

Gallagher Bassett Canada is experiencing aggressive growth, making now an ideal time to join our team. We are hiring a full-time Senior Claims Adjuster.

This role involves investigating, evaluating, and settling claims, including general liability, product liability, first-party property damage, auto, and third-party auto claims.

How you'll make an impact

• Apply industry standards and practices with strong analytical skills to resolve claims issues.
• Negotiate settlements and interpret related documentation; communicate with solicitors and parties to resolve claims within authority.
• Demonstrate strong coverage knowledge, multitasking ability, and adaptability.
• Manage time effectively and stay organized with attention to detail.
• Communicate professionally in both French and English, verbally and in writing.
• Handle claims according to client and company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
• Utilize Microsoft Office programs effectively.
• Provide exceptional customer service.

About you

Required:

• High school diploma
• At least 5 years of claims experience
• Proper licensing or certification in applicable regions
• Extensive knowledge of industry standards
• Proficiency with claims and business software

Preferred:

• College or university degree or equivalent experience
• Experience in commercial lines claims
• Licenses in Quebec or other provinces, including commercial licenses
• Bilingual in French and English
