Job summary

Hatch is seeking a Senior Civil Structural Designer to join our Infrastructure team in Canada. You will contribute to the development of civil and structural design deliverables for infrastructure and industrial projects, from early studies through detailed engineering and construction support.

You will model and draft in 2D/3D, coordinate across disciplines, and ensure designs comply with codes, standards, and safety requirements.

Qualifications

Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of experience in civil and structural design.
Experience in multidisciplinary EPCM, consulting engineering, or industrial projects.
Proficiency with civil and structural 2D and 3D design software.
Strong understanding of engineering design principles, codes and standards.
Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to health and safety.

Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain civil and structural 2D drawings and 3D models using industry-standard software.
Develop conceptual layouts and detailed design drawings for civil and structural works.
Produce modelling and drafting for concrete and steel structures.
Coordinate design deliverables with engineers and teams across disciplines.
Support project delivery in scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
