Job Description
A prominent design and construction firm in Vancouver is seeking a senior engineer to enhance their team. This role involves expanding the company's expertise in large-scale utility projects, such as welded steel watermains, sanitary interceptors, and marine crossings, while also supporting ongoing projects throughout western Canada. The candidate must have experience as the Engineer of Record on these types of projects, not just in a peripheral role. A degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university is required. This position offers a great opportunity to advance your career by taking on a pivotal role. You'll collaborate with talented junior and intermediate engineers who will assist you from the proposal stage through to construction. Your main duties will include leading complex utility projects, providing detailed design support for engineering plans, drawings, and specifications, and contributing to project management, proposal development, and the execution of local and regional projects.
This is an office-based role with hybrid flexibility. Typical working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The company offers competitive salaries, a bonus program, good benefits, and the opportunity for share ownership as an employee-owned company. You'll be part of a well-established and skilled interdisciplinary team, benefiting from flexibility and freedom to chart your own course and take on a variety of roles.
The pay range for this position is $140,000.00 - $170,000.00/yr.
