Job summary

Fluor Canada is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to lead civil design on industrial projects, focusing on site development, earthworks, drainage, and utilities. The role requires extensive design experience and PE eligibility.

The successful candidate will develop specifications, estimates, and schedules while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and supporting procurement and permitting efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (or eligible for registration) with APEGA.
• 10+ years of civil engineering experience in stormwater drainage, sanitary sewer, and grading for brownfield/greenfield projects.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, OpenRoads, MicroStation and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and coordination skills across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Design civil engineering scopes on industrial projects including site development and earthworks.
• Prepare and self-check engineering calculations by hand and with computer software.
• Develop and review project specifications, estimates, schedules, and material quantities.
• Able to lead a Civil design team and coordinate with multidisciplinary groups.
• Assist in procurement, permitting, and subcontracting activities.
