Job Description
The Change Manager will be responsible for leading the change management strategy and implementation for a cybersecurity modernization program. This role will ensure successful adoption of new processes, tools, and ways of working across the organization by driving stakeholder engagement, training, risk mitigation, and sustainment planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Organizational Change, Information Technology, or a related discipline OR two-year community college diploma with relevant experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience acting as a lead Change Manager on medium to large-scale transformational projects within complex environments.
- Experience working on projects spanning multiple business units and/or stakeholder groups.
- Experience coordinating with more than eight direct project participants.
- Proven ability to lead organizational change initiatives in high-impact, cross-functional programs, preferably within cybersecurity, technology, or other security-sensitive domains.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver a comprehensive change management strategy and implementation plan aligned with project milestones.
- Create and execute a stakeholder engagement and communications plan tailored to executives, technical teams, employees, and clients.
- Design a reskilling and training framework to address skill gaps and prepare teams for adopting new tools and processes.
- Conduct impact assessments to evaluate changes to roles, responsibilities, processes, and client services, and define mitigation strategies.
- Develop tools and metrics to measure organizational readiness and change adoption; provide progress updates and recommendations to leadership.
- Identify resistance areas and implement risk mitigation strategies, including feedback loops and change agent networks.
- Assess client-facing impacts of cybersecurity changes and ensure continuity of critical services with appropriate communication support.
- Provide tools, talking points, and coaching for executives and managers to drive cultural and behavioral change.
- Integrate change management activities with broader program and cybersecurity implementation plans.
- Develop a post-implementation sustainment plan to embed changes into daily operations, including hand-offs, reinforcement mechanisms, and long-term support strategies.
