NHS Fife is seeking an experienced Senior Catering Supervisor to lead our Catering Team across patient, staff and hospitality areas. You will oversee Supervisors, Cooks and Assistants, ensuring meals are produced to the highest standards of quality, safety and nutrition.

You will monitor staff performance, manage rotas, maintain HACCP records and ensure compliance with Food Safety legislation and NHS policies. The role offers great opportunities for development within a patient‑focused service.

Qualifications

• Experience working within a large-scale catering environment.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Excellent communication and people management skills.
• Good knowledge of Food Safety legislation, HACCP and COSHH.
• IT skills and the ability to maintain accurate records.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Senior Catering Supervisor to join our Catering Team within NHS Fife.

As Senior Catering Supervisor, you will lead and support Catering Supervisors, Cooks and Catering Assistants in delivering high-quality catering services across patient, staff and hospitality areas. You will play a key role in ensuring all meals and provisions are produced and presented to the highest standards of quality, safety and nutritional care while maintaining compliance with current food safety legislation and NHS policies.
