Extendicare (Canada) Inc. is seeking a Housekeeping Aide for a full-time, permanent Deep Clean role in our Canadian facilities. You will clean resident apartments and common areas, operate cleaning machinery, and follow health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Good oral and written English communication skills
• Ability to provide daily feedback and knowledge of standard institutional cleaning techniques
• Previous experience in commercial / residential / healthcare cleaning and laundry procedures is desirable
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job
• Proficiency in a second language is an asset
• Must provide a Vulnerable Sector Check (or be willing to obtain one) within six months

Responsabilités

• To clean Resident's apartments and common areas per assigned schedules
• Operate floor care machines and steam cleaning equipment
• Strip, scrub, spray, and buff carpet and floor surfaces
• Pick up garbage and transport to designated areas
• Adhere to residence policies and safety rules
• Prepare documentation as required
• Attend in-service training and staff meetings
• Uphold the organization's ethics and integrity
