Job summary

Bank of Montreal is seeking a Senior Analyst/Manager for Cards Analytics to deliver data-driven insights for credit and debit card portfolios, fraud strategy optimization, and operational efficiency. You will work with Fraud Strategy, Operations, Product, Technology, and Risk teams to transform transaction data into actionable insights.

The role requires advanced TSYS expertise, strong SQL, and experience with large data sets, BI reporting, and leadership in cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

Advanced TSYS expertise with hands-on configuration, rules, and decisioning frameworks.
Strong SQL programming and query optimization skills.
Extensive experience analyzing large transactional datasets in cards/payments.
Proficiency in data visualization and BI reporting tools.
Experience presenting complex analyses to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

Perform advanced analysis of card transaction data to identify fraud trends and portfolio opportunities.
Develop, maintain, and optimize dashboards and performance monitoring frameworks for Cards initiatives.
Support fraud strategy by evaluating rule performance and portfolio impacts.
Collaborate with Risk, Fraud, Product, and Operations to enable data-driven decisions.
Prepare executive-level summaries and presentations for senior leadership.
