Job summary

Highbury Canco Corporation in Leamington, Ontario, seeks a Senior Capital Project Manager—Manufacturing (Engineering) to lead large‑scale capital projects from scoping through commissioning. You will collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering to deliver on time and within budget in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years of capital/engineering project leadership in manufacturing, an engineering degree, and preferably a P.Eng.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years leading capital or engineering projects in manufacturing.
• Experience from design through commissioning and handover.
• Engineering degree required; Professional Engineer preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital projects ($50K–$5M+) from scope definition to start-up.
• Manage contractors, consultants, and vendors in a live production environment.
• Oversee budgets, schedules, and scope changes across concurrent projects.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering teams.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

• 3–5+ years leading capital or engineering projects in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Experience managing projects from design through commissioning and operational handover
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment with competing priorities
• Engineering degree required (P.Eng preferred)

Note

This role is not suited for candidates with only project coordination, IT project management, or construction-only experience.
