Job summary

Hitachi Energy in Canada seeks a Senior Project Manager to plan, direct, manage, and oversee design and construction projects ensuring delivery on time and within budget. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 tools including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, and collaboration tools.
• Advanced skills with Microsoft Project Management or similar tools and working knowledge of AutoCAD, Forma (ACC), reporting tools, and construction-related tools.

• Develop capital investment budgets and support pricing activities for future projects and initiatives.

• Manage project risks and ensure mitigation plans are developed and implemented.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, suppliers, and customers.
• Ensure project closeout activities are completed and lessons learned are captured and shared for continuous improvement.
• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will plan, direct, manage, and oversee assigned design and construction projects to ensure delivery within established schedules and budgets. You will lead the execution of small to large capital improvement and build projects while coordinating with internal stakeholders, external suppliers, customers, and third-party project management resources.
