Senior Canadian Tax Compliance Analyst-EN

Join to apply for the Senior Canadian Tax Compliance Analyst-EN role at CAE.

About This Role

Reporting to the Manager of Canadian Tax Compliance, the Canadian Tax Compliance Analyst will have excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and capable of multitasking to meet deadlines.

Main Functions and Tasks
  • Prepare and analyze tax provisions for Canadian and foreign subsidiaries.
  • Participate in the consolidated tax provision process.
  • Prepare Canadian tax returns (T2) and related forms (T106, T1134), including credits for internships.
  • Assist team leaders in tax audits of Canadian companies.
  • Monitor tax schedules of foreign subsidiaries.
  • Conduct research and analysis for various files and special projects.
  • Manage tax provisions for countries with specific requirements.
  • Supervise tasks performed by interns in the tax group.
Required Qualifications
  • University degree in accounting.
  • CA designation (asset).
  • Master's degree in taxation or similar (asset).
  • At least 5 years of accounting experience, including 3 years in Canadian corporate taxation (asset).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365.
  • Data analysis skills; knowledge of Power BI (asset).
  • Knowledge of Oracle, HFM (asset).
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills in both French and English.
