Job summary

Ubisoft2 is seeking an experienced ML/C++ engineer to design and support ML systems embedded in game engines and games. You will optimize model performance, leverage GPUs and CPUs, and collaborate with data scientists, gameplay programmers, and the production team to deliver scalable AI solutions.

The role emphasizes strong architecture, memory management, and the ability to write high-quality, testable code across complex pipelines and platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or computer engineering; Master’s in ML is a strong asset.
• 10+ years in C++ programming; 5+ years in AI/ML recommended or required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and support ML systems based on business requirements and objectives.
• Develop, integrate, and maintain inference engines, ML libraries, and frameworks.
• Leverage hardware (NPU, GPU, CPU) to accelerate ML computations.
• Build systems to evaluate, optimize, and measure model performance.
• Integrate ML systems within game engines and games.
• Write unit tests and integration tests.
• Collaborate with data science, specialized programmers, research, and production teams.
• Write clear, structured code with performance, maintainability, modularity, scalability, and compatibility in mind.
