Job summary

Radio-Canada is seeking a C# Senior Developer for the OTT Team (French Services) in a hybrid Telework/Hybrid setup in Montreal. The role requires at least 3 years of software development experience, strong C#, ASP.NET Core, and WebAPI skills, and solid REST API knowledge.

You will collaborate with product owners and architects to deliver scalable front-end solutions for CBC Gem and ICI TOU.TV, across digital platforms.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core and WebAPI.
• REST API principles expertise.
• Git knowledge.
• SQL Server and Entity Framework familiarity.
• Redis knowledge is a plus.
• JavaScript/TypeScript familiarity.
• Azure cloud knowledge is a plus.
• Docker, Kubernetes and Azure cloud knowledge is a plus.
• Audio/video streaming knowledge is a plus.
• Design patterns understanding.
• Independent, meticulous and curious.

Responsibilities

• Design and modify reusable components for Radio-Canada's digital platforms, including the video player.
• Ensure standards compliance and maintain product quality throughout projects.
• Stay informed on trends in digital development.
• Propose proactive solutions to challenges encountered.
• Participate in Agile Scrum to review progress and measure results.
• Develop user stories for our products.
• Ensure performance of apps under high loads.
• Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and deployments.
• Contribute to code reviews and solution deployments.
