As a certified firm (BGH Valuation - we are seeking a motivated and qualified Senior Valuation Analyst to join our team. In this full-time, remote position, you will collaborate closely with the Founder and Chief Valuation Officer to perform financial analyses, draft valuation reports, and support client engagement. Key Responsibilities :

  • Assist in performing business valuations, including financial modeling, capitalized cash flow (CCF) and discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis, and comparable company analysis.
  • Conduct market research and industry analysis to support valuation conclusions.
  • Prepare detailed valuation reports and presentations for clients, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
  • Manage client communications, organize valuation-related documents, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Utilize software tools to streamline workflows, data analysis, and report generation.
  • Collaborate with senior analysts to ensure compliance with valuation standards (e.g., USPAP, ASA, or NACVA guidelines).
  • Attend team meetings and contribute to process improvements.
  • Work independently and collaboratively to meet project deadlines and firm objectives.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in business valuation, financial analysis, or related fields, preferably with exposure to US markets.
  • Familiarity with US business tax returns and financial reports (e.g., balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements).
  • Big 4 accounting firm experience or equivalent (e.g., valuation or Quality of Earnings (QoE) engagements) is highly preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as CFA, ASA, ABV, or CVA are a plus but not required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced financial modeling), Word, PowerPoint, and valuation software (e.g., DealStats, Capital IQ, Bloomberg, or similar).
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, with professional video conferencing experience.
  • Reliable internet connection, high-quality video camera, and microphone for seamless remote collaboration.
  • Ability to work in a distraction-free environment during US business hours.
