Donna Cona Inc. is currently seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst, for one of our key government clients.

Candidate MUST have the following:

  • Knowledge of legal and judicial processes;
  • Experience with Case Management Systems;
  • Proficiency in data analytics and reporting for Justice metrics;
  • Ability to conduct needs assessments in order to analyze current business problems or opportunities of an organization;
  • Ability to recommend actions to address business needs and prepare business cases including cost benefit analysis for proposed solutions;
  • Experienced in creating business analysis plans and planning business analysis work;
  • Experienced in requirements elicitation and analysis;
  • Understanding of business modeling concepts, and ability to utilize UML notations;
  • Understanding of change management as it relates to business analysis and managing change to requirements;
  • Clear oral, written, nonverbal and effective interpersonal communication skills appropriate to all levels of management and clients;
  • Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary and multicultural team;
  • Strong analytical skills, and solid experience in writing functional and nonfunctional specifications;
  • Well balanced understanding of business relationships, business requirements, IT requirements and technical solutions;
  • Understanding of business process documentation, re-engineering, business systems development and analysis;
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and changing priorities; and
  • Knowledge of applications that help carry out day-to-day project tasks; including but not limited to MS Office suite.

Candidate should have the following demonstrated experience:

  • Analyzing business processes and reviewing existing information systems;
  • Eliciting and documenting business, systems and stakeholders requirements focused on judicial, and corrections needs;
  • Coordinating with legal and corrections teams to validate solutions meet legal standards and operational policies;
  • Mapping existing business processes and ensuring requirements capture necessary controls for regulatory compliance and audit trails;
  • Participating in the design of new systems that support business processes;
  • Reviewing new systems, designs, and functions;
  • Identifying reporting requirements;
  • Identifying data, interfaces, and tests requirements;
  • Identifying and specifying interfaces with law enforcement databases and other justice related systems;
  • Developing User Acceptance Criteria specific to judicial roles;
  • Developing and executing systems and acceptance test scripts and procedures;
  • Contributing to the post mortem analysis following any assigned project completion;
  • Preparing technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; and
  • Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
