Job Title: Senior Business System Analyst

Location: Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada

Rate: $70 to $90/hr on W2

General Duties:

• Support the software development team.
• Work with both client and development team members to elicit requirements, write user stories, define goals, document requirements, and analyze business functions to become familiar with the business domain.
• Identify business workflows and determine stakeholder needs.
• Author test case specifications, requirements traceability documentation, and contribute to the compilation and execution of test plans.
• Support and contribute to the Agile practices adopted by the development team.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Language Proficiency: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are required. French proficiency is an asset.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related discipline. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may also be considered.

Experience:

• Over 10 years of IM/IT experience.
• At least 5 years of business analysis experience in projects utilizing Agile methodology.
• 5 years of experience as a Senior Business Systems Analyst within the last 7 years, including:
• Requirements analysis
• Design activities
• Testing and training

Specific Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in business analysis related to social services or case/care management, gained in the last 5 years.
• Minimum 5 years (within the last 7) of experience coordinating, facilitating, and conducting requirements gathering sessions.
• Minimum 5 years (within the last 7) of experience eliciting and documenting both functional and non-functional business requirements.
• Minimum 5 years (within the last 7) of experience analyzing functional requirements to identify information, processes, and decision flows.
• Minimum 5 years (within the last 7) of experience defining and documenting technical requirements for internal and external applications.
• Minimum 5 years (within the last 7) of experience creating test cases, traceability documentation, defining test data requirements, and executing test cases.
• Active certification from a recognized professional business analysis organization (e.g., IIBA, SAFe Agile) with at least 5 years of applicability in the last 7 years.
• At least 5 years (within the last 7) of hands-on experience working with Jira, Confluence, DevOps, and Agile methodology.
• Ability to communicate effectively in French (both verbal and written) is an asset.
