Qualifications

About The Role

As a Senior Business Partner, Human Resources (Employee Relations) you will play a key role in supporting operational human resources teams. You will collaborate with various centers of expertise to create and implement tools, standards, and templates that optimize HR work. You will also participate in the improvement of the Workday system, with the goal of accelerating HR processes while ensuring compliance with confidentiality and security standards.

What You’ll Do Here

  • Collaborate with various centers of expertise to develop and implement tools, standards, and templates designed to support operational HR teams.
  • Analyze operational needs and propose solutions to enhance the efficiency of HR processes.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of Workday to make it a more effective tool for HR teams, while strictly adhering to data confidentiality and security standards.
  • Provide strategic advice on employee relations and the application of HR policies and guidelines.
  • Rigorously monitor best practices and trends in the field of employee relations to propose relevant improvements.
  • Develop and deliver training and internal communications for the HR communities when changes and improvements are introduced into HR practice.
  • Work closely with management teams to anticipate and resolve challenges related to employee relations.

What You Bring To The Table

  • For all candidates across Canada : Bilingualism (French / English) is required considering the need to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country.
  • University degree in Industrial Relations, Human Resources Management or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 to 8 years experience in human resources, ideally in an employee relation function .
  • Experience in implementation of national HR programs (preferred).
  • Demonstrated strategic focus, autonomy, and a demonstrated organizational skill.
  • Demonstrated strong collaboration and partnership abilities, flexibility in work execution.
  • Strong aptitude for coaching and continuous learning.
  • High capacity for managing stress and strong ability to navigate ambiguity.
  • Solid experience in aligning human resources strategies with corporate business objectives.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail oriented as well as demonstrated ability to be agile and pivot, critical thinking ability to conduct trend & data analysis.
  • A range of experience levels will be considered, with a strong preference for demonstrated strong employee relations expertise.
  • CHRP designation preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
