The Fixed Income Technology team is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Business Intelligence Engineer / Tableau Developer to join our dynamic group. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with hands-on technical expertise, capable of designing, developing, and optimizing data visualization and reporting solutions and communicating data-driven insights to stakeholders across all organizational levels.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the end-to-end design, development, deployment, and maintenance of high-quality Tableau dashboards and reports.
  • Translate complex business requirements into effective, interactive data visualizations and dashboards.
  • Optimize dashboard performance, manage extracts and live connections, and ensure dashboard reliability.
  • Develop and manage ETL pipelines to build robust data lakes, extract insights from raw data, and support forecasting analysis for decision-making.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to understand infrastructure forecasting data and hardware allocation processes.
  • Support diverse data needs and reporting requirements with a self-directed approach.
Required Qualifications
  • Experience: 5+ years in Business Intelligence, Data Analysis, and/or Data Engineering.
  • 2+ years of hands-on Tableau experience (Desktop, Server, Prep).
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications.
  • Proven experience in managing and implementing successful projects.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Advanced SQL Skills: Proficient in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and optimizing query performance, especially for queries on millions of rows.
    • Data Modeling: Solid understanding of data modeling principles, star/snowflake schemas, and data warehouse concepts.
    • Scripting: Experience with Python and Shell scripting for data extraction from flat files (e.g., .csv) and loading into databases.
    • Java: Knowledge of Java to support and enhance custom-built ETL frameworks.
  • Domain Knowledge:
    • Strong knowledge of working with diverse data sets.
    • Understanding of the complete IT landscape, including Systems, Applications, Database, Networking, Physical, and Cloud Architecture.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Exceptional communication skills with a consultative approach to addressing complex environments.
    • Ability to ingest, adapt to, and integrate new technologies and protocols on demand.
    • Comfortable navigating complex enterprise policies, organizations, and differing agendas.
    • Resourceful, creative, and able to find innovative ways to achieve results.
    • Working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques and methods.
    • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines effectively, adapting to changes in expectations or requirements.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
