The opportunity
We have an exciting full-time permanent national opportunity for a dynamic Senior Business Development Specialist. This position is responsible for identifying, cultivating, and securing new revenue opportunities for Community Support Services (CSS) at March of Dimes Canada (MODC). With a focus on serving seniors, individuals with physical disabilities, and individuals with acquired brain injuries, this role plays a key part in ensuring MODC’s financial sustainability and capacity to scale impact. Reporting to the Director, Social Enterprise and leading business growth initiatives you will bring your expertise in business development by researching market trends, analyzing gaps/opportunities in community-based healthcare, engaging key external stakeholders, and preparing high-quality proposals and funding applications. You will be a strategic thinker who understands the intersection of social enterprise, government-funded service models, and mission-driven innovation. You will also bring your strong collaborative skills to work with internal teams that include service delivery, finance operations, marketing and impact measurement.

Market Research & Strategic Development
External Engagement & Opportunity Cultivation
Proposal Development & Revenue Generation
Internal Collaboration & Implementation Support
Marketing, Communications & Brand Positioning
Qualifications and experience
Home based (remote position) with travel as required.
